The 48-day winter meet at Aqueduct will feature 25 stakes, including five graded events, worth $3 million. The New York oval will offer a trio of stakes for newly turned 3-year-olds with Triple Crown aspirations, starting with the Jan. 2 $150,000 GIII Jerome S. and continuing with the Feb. 4 $250,000 GIII Withers S. before concluding with the Mar. 4 $300,000 GIII Gotham S. Rounding out the winter meet’s graded stakes are the $125,000 GIII Toboggan, to be run Jan. 16, and the $200,000 GIII Tom Fool H. Mar 11.
