Jockeys and Jeans, a charity event in existence for only three years with stops at Tampa Bay Downs, Indiana Grand and Gulfstream Park, will be heading to Parx Racing in June 2017. Jockeys and Jeans has raised nearly $500,000 for the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund.
Also in 2017, Jockeys and Jeans and the Stronach Group will host a Stallion Seasons Auction to benefit the PDJF at Gulfstream Park Jan. 20th at the Pre-Eclipse Awards party.
“We must also thank Tom Ventura of the Ocala Sales Company for sponsoring this event, and without their financial support, this would not be possible,” a release from Jockeys and Jeans read. “We are overwhelmed by the response from our friends in Kentucky, Ocala, New York and even California who have stepped up to the plate to help our brothers and sisters who have given everything to the game we all love.”
