Two of us were going down for some golf. It was my 3rd or 4th trip and my buddy's 1st. Back then the Sunday paper had numerous LV travel ads and one offered air and room at Palace Station for about $200. This was about '93. Rooms were the Courtyard section, tiny but clean.
